UNITAS Healthcare Systems is a mental health and psychiatric care provider dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence-based treatment for children, adolescents, and adults. Our goal is to make quality mental health care accessible, personalized, and easy to navigate.

2. Who can receive care at UNITAS?

We provide psychiatric evaluation and treatment for patients ages 5 and above, including children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. 

3. What conditions do you treat?

Our providers offer evaluation and treatment for a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety disorders, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, bipolar disorder, depression, PTSD, postpartum mental health concerns, sleep-related conditions, and other emotional or behavioral challenges.

4. Do you offer telehealth appointments?

Yes. Psychiatric medication management and select psychiatric services may be available through secure telehealth appointments, allowing patients to receive care from the comfort of their home.

5. Do you offer ketamine treatment?

Yes. We offer medically supervised ketamine treatments for eligible patients who may benefit from alternative treatment options for certain mental health conditions. 

6. What is a second opinion evaluation?

A second opinion evaluation provides an independent psychiatric assessment to help clarify diagnoses, review treatment recommendations, and explore additional treatment options.

7. What types of reports and documentation do you provide? 

We offer advocacy and report-writing services for academic accommodations, workplace support, disability applications, legal matters, and other situations requiring psychiatric documentation.

8. Do you accept insurance?

Yes. UNITAS works with select insurance providers. Coverage may vary depending on your plan and the services received. We currently accept MBHP, BCBS, Harvard Pilgrim, Tufts Direct, Tufts Together with CHA, Tufts Together with UMMH, and Wellpoint.

9. Is my information confidential?

Yes. We are committed to protecting patient privacy and maintaining the confidentiality of all personal health information in accordance with applicable healthcare regulations.
